The Quiet Year: Sanguine Song - Part 1

Join us as we build the settlement/region of where we will be playing our next longer arc known as, "Sanguine Song" in the criminal TTRPG, "Blades in the Dark!" We establish this port city via using the wonderfully creative map-drawing game, "The Quiet Year."

The Quiet Year utilizes a deck of 52 playing cards to represent seasons in a year. During which, the players draw cards, react to the prompts, and build out the region of the world with all it's troubles and wonders.

The Quiet Year is a map-drawing tabletop role-playing game for 2-4 players about community building by Avery Alder. The illustrations are by Ariel Norris, and Jackson Tegu is credited with additional design insights. It was independently published in 2013 by Buried Without Ceremony.
